"Montana Sunset Supercell" Malta, MT I grew up in Montana. For a long time I have had a dream of being able to chase a beautiful storm through the Montana praries. On this particular day we had just arrived in Chinook, MT after 2 days of solid driving up from TX. Storms fired just about right over my head in Chinook and I followed them East up towards the Canadian border. As the late evening sun was finally starting to go down I moved into position to capture this beautiful scene. Technical Details: Shot with Canon 5d MK2 and Canon 24-70mm lens at F16 and 1/30 seconds.
"Infrared Magic" Allen, TX Technical Details: Shot with Infrared Canon 10D and Canon 20mm lens at F22 and 1/20 seconds.
"Fire and Ice" Piedmont, OK It took a lot of driving to finally get into position to see this. We had been following this storm for hours. It had tried several times to get organized but had failed. Just South of Piedmont, OK it finally succeeded. We only had a few minutes at this location before the high winds, lightning and huge hail drove us off but it was enough for me to capture this. Technical Details: Shot with Canon 5d MK2 and Canon 24-70mm lens at F8 and 1/20 seconds. Panorama created from 10 vertical bracketted shots.
