"The Blue Hour" Rockwall, TX The Blue Hour is a term photographers use to describe the hour before or after the sun rises and sets. It's a great time to take pictures!What a beautiful site this was! As we prepared for this sunset shoot I didn't have a whole lot of hope. There weren't any clouds in the sky near us! However, the setting sun lit up high clouds far in west TX and gave us this beautiful scene. The color of the water contrasted with the sky was just amazing. "Blue" Ulm, MT I was born and raised in a little town in Montana named Great Falls. As a Texan now I try as often as I can to get back to Montana and visit my family. I also love to experience and photograph the Montana Scenery. I came upon this scene as I explored around Great Falls one evening. The frozen blue Missouri river made for an incredible site. "Homestead Snowfall" Belt Mountains, MT I was born and raised in a little town in Montana named Great Falls. As a Texan now I try as often as I can to get back to Montana and visit my family. I also love to experience and photograph the Montana Scenery. This small farm is located in the Belt Mountains near Great Falls, MT. As we traveled through the area we were fortunate enough to experience a beautiful snowfall, creating a magical scene. "Pelican Point" Great Falls, MT When I was a boy growing up in Montana I loved to fish the Missouri. One of my favorite spots was Pelican Point, about 10 miles south west of Great Falls. "Back Side Magic" Central Colorado One of my favorite hobbies after photography is storm chasing. Experiencing the power and beauty of thunderstorms is something that is really hard to translate into images.I found this storm while traveling through Central Colorado, just East of Denver.
