October 22nd West Texas Chase

Myself, Justin Terveen, Ted Van Den Heuvel and Zack Biggs chased a marginal setup up in West Texas near Wichita FAlls. We weren't expecting a whole lot, but we did expect to see a few supercells. Ended up being a great day of storms, but they were mostly choked off before they could really get going.

Justin takes in this small storm that tried really hard to get a funnel going. Lots of rotation, but kept getting undercut by the cold air.
This was Ted's first storm chase with us, and I think he had a great time!
We met up with Ben Jacobi in Wichita. Here, he and Zack work at being "Storm Chasers". ;-)

One of the last places we stopped before heading out. Got ran out of here by the folks that own this ranch. They were very rude to us, considering we were just sitting on the side of the road. :(
